Brainworking Recursive Therapy (BWRT)

BWRT is a refreshing approach to psychology and mental health that aligns with our understanding of how the brain functions. It is about finding solutions, which is exactly what modern therapy aims to do. It is unique, based on science, and works in a completely different way to slower therapies such as CBT, Counselling and Hypnotherapy.

BWRT stands for BrainWorking Recursive Therapy and is currently undergoing clinical trials by several NHS Clinical Psychologists working with diverse conditions such as post-cancer psychotherapy, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia and generalised anxiety disorder, all in addition to complex issues such as OCD, PTSD and eating disorders. The effectiveness and efficiency reported by therapists and patients are so far unanimously positive.

There is no tapping, touching, hand passes, trances or anything non-scientific. We don't need to find the root cause of the problem. We only work with the strongest or most vivid feeling or memory of the symptom that the client can consciously recall. To learn more about this unique, effective, fast, and safe model of psychotherapy, book a complimentary initial 20- to 30-minute consultation with me today. I look forward to hearing from you.

How I work

My Counselling Service is a collaborative process that is tailored to you personally. I listen to understand how your experiences impact your life without making assumptions, interpreting symptoms or trying to fit you into a formula.

I am an interactive, relational therapist. I will be in there with you without getting in the way of your thoughts, processes, and insights. You will feel supported and held by me as your confident companion through the more painful aspects of the therapeutic process. I will be your ally as you connect with feelings you may have been avoiding or experiences you may have felt too difficult to explore or examine on your own.

Depending on your goals for therapy, I can offer you time and space to explore your concerns or a range of tools and techniques to help you access and process traumatic experiences, difficult emotions, or limiting beliefs. Therapy can help change or widen your perspective regarding your situation or your life and help you develop self-compassion, self-confidence, self-acceptance, and enthusiasm for life.
