Counselling & Supervision

Live a fuller, happier, rewarding life!

Counselling and you!

As a clinical counsellor, I can help you identify and regulate overwhelming feelings and sensory input, process past trauma, reduce anxiety, fears and phobias, and improve your communication in intimate, familial, social and work relationships.

Counselling can help you to explore, identify and change your response to stressful life events. It can help you to widen your perspective and understanding of your life and the situation you find yourself in. Counselling can help you develop self-compassion, self-confidence and self-acceptance. It can help you be clear about the life you want to live and give you confidence to approach obstacles that may get in the way.

  • Would you like to make sense of the past?
  • To leave the past in the past?
  • To process uncomfortable feelings such as grief, anger, guilt and shame?
  • To stop people pleasing?
  • To like yourself more?

Hello my name is Fiona Gray

I am a Clinical Counsellor and Supervisor.

I work with a wide range of people experiencing emotional trauma, relationship issues, depression, low self-esteem, and anxiety.

I have worked for several years in an

NHS Talking Therapy Service as a Clinical Counsellor.

I receive private referrals from large and small businesses to work with their staff.

I offer a safe, nonjudgmental, anti-discriminatory service to all, including those who are neurodivergent or suspect they may be.

I provide short and long-term Counselling and Supervision both online and in person.

My therapy room is based in Manchester City Centre.

My background

My background is in the Performing Arts and Education. I lectured in Contemporary Dance for several years and went on to manage a community arts organisation based in Greater Manchester. I became a high school dance teacher and helped several schools achieve Performing Arts College status. After working through my own adverse childhood experiences and enjoying supporting students and artists at the start of their professional careers, a mid-life career change from teacher to counsellor was a natural progression for me.

Lifelong learning, creativity, and personal development have always been important to me. My aim as a Clinical Counsellor is to help people access their innate resources and become aware of their repetitive negative thoughts, which are constantly running in the background of their minds, so they can live life with clarity and choice.
